Compared to Philips 6000K (actual color 5800K) the 5000K (actual 5400K) is similar in color, but unlike the 6000K ("Not For Use in Europe/USA"), the 5000K is legal for both color & light output worldwide and has a light blue ceramic rod to distinguish from the Philips 6000K which has a purple ceramic rod covering the side wire. *note ceramic tube does not affect bulb performance but merely enhances color & reduces reflection
